My stories have been featured in publications that celebrate honest, thoughtful storytelling and the moments that shape us.

This isn’t just what I do—it’s who I am.


After losing my son Brendan, I found a lifeline in  mindful reflection and words. Writing gave shape to my grief, my love, and eventually, my path forward.

But some emotions move beyond words.

I began to dream of the harp before I ever touched one—waking with my fingers tingling, as if they’d been plucking invisible strings in my sleep. When I finally followed that dream, the harp became a bridge to something deeper: a creative language beyond thought.

A way of feeling what my mind alone couldn’t hold.

Music and mindfulness met me where I was—in the sorrow, the stillness, the softness.

And over time, it became the thread that stitched me back together—word by word, note by note, breath by breath.

 

That’s why I created Zen and the Pen—a creative sanctuary where story, sound, and stillness create space for calm, clarity, and inner renewal.

Through coaching and classes,  I help others find their own rhythm—the kind that brings clarity, calm, and the courage to express their truest voice.

This isn’t a templated process.
It’s a grounded, intuitive journey—guided by presence, imagination, and thoughtful listening.
